Great things always seem to happen when James Haunt and the homie ZES (MSK/Seventh Letter) get together. This time they left behind another banger of a mural on the corner of 7th and Matteo in Downtown Los Angeles.

Our good friends from Havoc.tv were also able to make it out and catch some footage of the mural in progress. As always, they came through with another sick edit to for everyone to enjoy.  James Haunt is no stranger to rooftops, and the Los Angeles skyline is where you could find the James Haunt crew lurkin’ late Saturday nights.  In the midst of all the chaos that surrounds the city we are more then grateful to have a spot to escape to, where we are able to have some drinks and share some good vibes with close homies! So when your walking through DTLA look up, you might catch the crew wildin’ out in the spot light of the ghetto birds!

James Haunt paints the world famous Roxy Theatre on Sunset Blvd. (Hollywood)

So we’ve been working on ideas with the good people over at the world famous Roxy Theatre on the Sunset Strip for a while now and finally this past weekend James Haunt became the first artist to paint on the side of the iconic venue.

The Roxy Theatre has been around since the early 1970′s and since day one has been the best club/venue in LA to catch the country’s top emerging acts as well as having musical legends stop by to strut their stuff on a regular basis. There is also “On the Rox”, the bar located right above the club which is always a good time and always a party! …Soooo with all the creative juices flowing around this amazing place, the idea of James knocking out a large 18′ x 18′ mural on the side of the historic building came about quite naturally.

We hope everyone enjoys the finished piece and wanted to send a huge thank you to Nic Adler, Megan Jacobs, Heather Kohos, Dann Sexton, Ryan and everyone at The Roxy for making this project happen, thanks for letting us be a part of history!

*Note* If you’re out and about in Hollywood make sure to stop by The Roxy and snap a couple shots in front of the mural and tweet em our way. Thanks!  @jameshaunt and @theroxy

James Haunt painting live at the Tilly’s Santa Monica Grand Opening this Saturday.

 What’s up everyone!

Just wanted to give a heads up on the Tilly’s grand opening this Saturday December, 10th at the 3rd Street Promenade in Santa Monica. James Haunt will be out all day painting a live piece that will be raffled off to one very lucky Tilly’s fan at 6pm on the day of the event. Dickies and Filter Magazine will be in the house with giveaways, live screen printing and providing tunes with a DJ set by Wavves goin down all afternoon.

James Haunt and crew had a chance to cruise out while the new Tilly’s was still under construction to knock out a couple rad murals inside the store (pictured above). Make sure to cruise by this weekend, say whats up, check out the finished works and grab a few pics!

This is going to be a fun event, see you in SM.
