James Haunt Launches at DWNTWN

We are extremely excited to announce the launch of the James Haunt clothing line at all the DWNTWN locations throughout Los Angeles. DWNTWN is one of the raddest street wear retailers in the area and has locations in La Mirada, Cerritos and Santa Ana. We couldn’t be happier than to join such a great selection of brands and an awesome group of people that make up the DWNTWN family.

We added some extra James Haunt flavor to the Cerritos location by hanging the large mural that James painted at last year’s US Open of Surfing to the wall (pictured below). It looks great! …We also wanted to send a big shout out to our boy Tony T who also has some great artwork on the walls and to our friends over at Dime Piece apparel, who have some amazing threads and accessories for the ladies. New James Haunt Mural – Ryan Sheckler’s Private Skatepark

James Haunt and the crew headed out to Ryan Sheckler’s private training facility down in south OC last week to knock out another huge mural. We had a blast holding down the brand new skatepark and adding a little color and James Haunt flavor to the space. Overall we are super stoked on the outcome of the piece and look forward to working with everyone involved on more projects in the future.

We wanted to send a huge shout and thank you to Ryan Sheckler and his crew, Mr. Ryan Runke the whole Red Bull team for gettin us dialed in on this project, Gretchen Sheckler and everyone with The Sheckler Foundation, and of course to Rhomer and The Bad Character for always being G’s. …Check out the photos below!

We are extremely excited to announce that James Haunt took home the winning honors last night at the Red Bull Curates: Canvas Cooler Project in Los Angeles! We would like to send a huge shout out to all the other artists involved on all their great works including the co-winner R. Whitebuffalo, the rad people with The Arts Fund, The Red Bull LAX crew, The work Shop Collective team, everyone at Factory West, everyone that helped spread the word and everyone that made it out. Thanks for the support! …What a great night!

The very beautiful Lilly Ghalichi of Shahs of Sunset fame and owner of one the sexiest swimsuit lines available, “Have Faith Swimgerie” is featured on the cover of this months Unleash’d Magazine. The photo that was chosen for the cover just so happens to be taken in front of the huge piece that James Haunt and ZES (MSK/Seventh Letter) knocked out last Summer in Palm Springs. Needless to say, we are stoked to see this piece still riding and getting some proper use. Well, this past week James met up with all these crazy cats down at the Blitz Distribution headquarters in Huntington Beach to deck out the GBP/Gremlinz tour bus for their upcoming Winter Snowboard tour that will take them from Tahoe to Killington, VT for The Gremlinz 2 “The Refried Batch” Premiere this Friday (Dec 21).

The outcome was pure madness and this thing will be turning heads everywhere it goes, check out the pictures below and give these dudes a honk if you catch them passing by!

Big shout to The Gremlinz, JSLV, The Bad Character, LOVE Crew, Sk8mafia and everyone involved. It’s Now or Never.

James Haunt Live Painting at Tilly’s Holiday Party (recap)

James Haunt and the crew had a blast painting and gettin live at the Tilly’s DM meeting/Holiday Party 2012. With a full on fashion show, live performances by Travis Barker, Mix Master Mike and Soulja Boy, there is no doubt Tilly’s knows how to throw a party!

All the heavy hitters in action sports/lifestyles brands were out reppin their newest gear and having a great time mingling with all the Tilly’s district managers, buyers and corporate staff. We wanted to send a huge shout out and thank you to Ken Resh, Jon Montgomery, Nicole Sebring and everyone that had a hand in pulling this rad event together. Great job, too much fun. Thanks for having us!
