James Haunt and the crew had a blast this past weekend at Grenade Games 8 held at Bear Mountain. James knocked out a large (16′ x 8′) mural over the course of the weekend while live music played, snowboarders competed in a handful of crazy events and the crowd partied hard slope side takng it all in. Needless to say, the event was a huge success and everyone had a great time running into old friends, making new ones and enjoying the energetic atmosphere brought on by the buzz of the games!
We would like to send a big thank you to Danny Kass, The Dingo, JC and the whole Grenade crew that put this together, the rad folks at Bear Mountain for always takng care of us, to the all the other sponsors involved including Vestal watches, Skullcandy, GNU, Zumiez, Nike Snowboardng and to everyone that made it out and showed love! …We hope you enjoy the photos, see you next year!
James Haunt and the crew are in the final preparations for “Grenade Games 8” which is going down this Sat. and Sun. (March 24 & 25) atBear Mountain Resortin Big Bear Lake, CA. James will be painting a large 8′x16′ “GG8″ inspired mural live throughout the weekend and of course be joining in the fun of the games. …Make sure to stop over, take a couple pics and and say whats up!

Danny Kass, The Dingo and the whole Grenade Gloves Army will be headed back up to Big Bear Mountain again this year for the return of the Grenade Games! Going down March 24th and 25th 2012, the 8th annual Grenade Games will once again feature crazy snowboard competitions, live music and a whole lot of partying! We are proud to announce that James Haunt and the crew will also again be headed out to join in the festivities, painting live on the mountain all weekend long.

James Haunt and crew had the opportunity to head up to Bear Mountan this past week to add some finishing touches to the incredible new Red Bull Plaza which opened yesterday at the mountain. For those of you that haven’t heard about the Red Bull Plaza yet, it is a huge addition to the already more than stellar terrain park that Bear mantains on the daily.
The new addition is a first of its kind installment that include a 30’ marble ledge, two 20’ concrete rails, three ledges, two banks, a kink building wall, building wall with a ledge attachment, four stair sets, two down rails, bleacher box, planter ledge box and a down-flat-down ledge wall.
Huge props to Director of Park Development, Clayton Shoemaker and his entire staff as well as Red Bull in making this dream a reality. On Thursday night Bear hosted the opening video/photo shoot which included JSLV pro’s Chris Bradshaw and Lucas Magoon as well as Forest Bailey, Daniel Brown, Will Bateman, Pat Lynch, Brett Wilkinson, and Big Mike. Just wanted to give everyone a little extra encouragement to cruise out to Bear Mountain this holiday weekend, they just got some fresh snow and are definitely looking forward to more.
