This stop of the James Haunt “Kill Time Space Out” World Tour took James and the crew to Art Basel in Switzerland. Over the weekend James was able to meet up with a ton of other artists, curators, art enthusiasts and more as Basel took over the city.

We wanted to give everyone a heads up that Bear Mountain, the Bear Mountain park staff and the Red Bull Plaza will be featured on tonight’s episode of Mountain Movers on the National Geographic Channel (Thurs. Jun 13 8PM ET).

Year after year, Clayton Shoemaker and the incredibly dedicated Bear Mountain Park Staff come through with some of the best features in world and we can’t thank them enough for their hard work and talent in keeping snowboarding progressive. James Haunt and the crew have had the opportunity to add a little flavor to the Red Bull Plaza the past couple years which  you might catch in tonight’s episode too, so make sure to TIVO it or tune in!

The day has finally come for our very own James Haunt and a small crew to head to Europe on Phase 1 of the “Kill Time Space Out” World Art Tour. The first phase of this tour will take James on a three month journey across Europe and back via the Eurorail, traveling to all 25 countries it reaches.

This leg will start in Paris, France and end back in Paris with a huge solo art show featuring James’ artworks, photos, videos, memories and discoveries of his time on the road. As the tour rolls on we will be releasing continuos tour updates, blogs, videos, photos, Instas and more through our online platforms as well as the networks of our great tour sponsors/supporters.

SO get hyped and stay tuned as we hit some of the biggest events in Europe this Summer including Art Basel Switzerland, X Games Munich, Multiple Fashion Tradeshows, Gatherings, Music Festivals, the underground, the above ground and everything in between. Watch out Europe, here we come!

Los Angeles, CA (June 4, 2013) – We are extremely thrilled to officially announce the launch of the James Haunt “Kill Time Space Out” World Tour, an epic voyage around the globe with one of America’s most sought after talents in the fields of contemporary art and graphic design.

The first leg of this tour will take James Haunt and crew on a 3-month expedition through Europe. The focus will be documenting James’ whirlwind journey as he travels by Eurorail to 25 countries. He will be starting in Paris, France (June 10, 2013) continuing his adventure by rail throughout Europe and concluding the tour with a massive solo art show back in Paris (September 2013).

James’ mission for this trip will be to leave a long lasting personal impression on all the locations he visits through continuously creating art and gaining inspiration from the sights he sees and people he meets. His concentration will be exploring the underground and unknown places that exist in each of the cities he visits as well as traveling to major festivals; gatherings; and other social events along the way. Throughout the trip, James will continue to work on his own brand back in the States and other projects that arise during his travels. All of the art that James creates through his time in Europe (sketches, paintings, prints, photographs, murals and other art pieces he has worked on) will be used as an abstraction of the entire trip and be the focus of his first major European art opening at the end of the tour.

We  will be documenting the tour through extensive video footage, photos and social media coverage. With the footage, we will be showcasing everything from live art projects to lifestyle shots of “life on the road” and everything in between. Simultaneously, we will be sending all of the content back to the United States to be edited and released in a calculated and organized fashion through multiple online platforms, media resources and our own network.

Here are a few words from Mr. Glikman about Shawn’s amazing progression into young adulthood and graduation.

“Since being at Coronado he’s not only improved his grades and behavior, but
he’s graduating on June 8th, 2013.  He has also been one of the most
enthusiastic volunteers, taking part in numerous activities in the
community.  For the school’s final event, he’s been helping coordinate
the logistics and I truly believe that this is just the beginning.  He’s
got a big heart and his passion for serving others is infectious.  Thank
you for helping recognize such an awesome student.”

Great things always seem to happen when James Haunt and the homie ZES (MSK/Seventh Letter) get together. This time they left behind another banger of a mural on the corner of 7th and Matteo in Downtown Los Angeles.

James Haunt and the crew had a blast this past weekend down in Laguna Beach at Handplant Skateshop for the James Haunt solo art show and exhibition.
