So we’ve been working on ideas with the good people over at the world famous Roxy Theatre on the Sunset Strip for a while now and finally this past weekend James Haunt became the first artist to paint on the side of the iconic venue.
The Roxy Theatre has been around since the early 1970′s and since day one has been the best club/venue in LA to catch the country’s top emerging acts as well as having musical legends stop by to strut their stuff on a regular basis. There is also “On the Rox”, the bar located right above the club which is always a good time and always a party! …Soooo with all the creative juices flowing around this amazing place, the idea of James knocking out a large 18′ x 18′ mural on the side of the historic building came about quite naturally.
We hope everyone enjoys the finished piece and wanted to send a huge thank you to Nic Adler, Megan Jacobs, Heather Kohos, Dann Sexton, Ryan and everyone at The Roxy for making this project happen, thanks for letting us be a part of history!
