James Haunt and the crew had a blast this past weekend down in Laguna Beach at Handplant Skateshop for the James Haunt solo art show and exhibition. We would like to send a HUGE shout out to everyone that made it out, to EG and the whole Handplant crew, JSLV, DJ Rey, Imperial Cerveza, Sk8mafia, Sector Nine, Big Dunz, MFDTJ, The Bad Character and everyone that helped this night turn out so great. We are extremely excited to announce that James Haunt will be hosting a solo art show and opening party at the Handplant Skateshop in Laguna Beach, CA (Saturday May 4th, 2013). The show will feature brand new James Haunt original artwork, the launch of the James Haunt Summer apparel collection, a brand new James Haunt mural on Pacific Coast Highway and a lot more.

There will be drinks, music and giveaways sponsored by Imperial, JSLV, Red Bull, Handplant, James Haunt and others. Our good friend and fellow JSLV family member Dj Rey will be supplying the beats on the ones and twos and there will definitely be some familiar faces in the crowd. This opening is going to be one for the record books people, so grab crew and roll out! …Check out all the details below.

 Also, we wanted to let everyone know that the Sheckler Foundation will be hosting “Skate for a Cause” a huge skate contest/charity event earlier in the day at the Etnies Skatepark in Lake Forest which is just up the street and open to the public. James Haunt has been invited to be a part of a pretty rad art show that will be going down this Thursday, March 28 in Los Angeles. “Project 8″ Art Show feat. James Haunt this Saturday at FoundTrack Collective (Beverly Hills)

James Haunt will be one of three featured artists showing work tomorrow, Saturday May 18th 2012 at the “Project 8″ art show presented by Kinoko Los Angeles at The FoundTrack Collective (370 1/2 La Cienega Blvd. Los Angeles, CA 90048).

James Haunt original artwork and prints will be available for sale as well as limited edition James Haunt apparel, other artists Munky King and Shojono Tomo will also have works on display. Becks beer, Kigen saki and Nagomi cocktails will be in the house offering up the libations and music will be spinnin all night long. …This is going to be a great event, make sure to tell the crew and roll out!

We wanted to give everyone a heads up on the LOVE Crew Art Opening going down Saturday March 31 at Store 13 in Pasadena. James Haunt will be in the house painting live from 7-10 with DJs, drinks, art and more. Mark your calendars, grab the crew and roll out, this is gong to be a rad event.

Hold Up Art – Retail Space Grand Opening (recap)

New James Haunt retail space opening up this weekend (2/4) at Hold Up Art – DTLA

We wanted to invite everyone out this Saturday (2/4) to the grand opening of Hold Up Art’s new retail space and two year anniversary art show. The brand new retail area will feature 5 of LA’s most sought after artists collectives, including James Haunt, Cryptik, Grindhaus, Cyrcle and Hit and Run showcasing their own brands and style of original 1 offs and limited edition apparel, art and more in a very unique art gallery setting.

This is going to be a great opening and showcase, James and the crew have been working hard on this project and would love to have everyone come check out the finished product. Hold Up Art is in a great location just blocks east of downtown Los Angeles in Little Tokyo and has been a great supporter and contributor to LA’s growing street art scene for quite a while now. Make sure to tell the whole crew about this event and cruise out, drinks, giveaways and good times will definitely be in the mix. See you there!

Mr. Brainwash – “Art Show 2011″ opens Christmas Day in LA

Mr. Brainwash’s “Art Show 2011″ will be opening today with a preview of the show starting at 3pm and then officially open to the public on December 25th and run through the 29th. “Art Show 2011″ is set up in a huge 80,000 square foot building in Los Angeles and James Haunt had a chance to stop by and add some work to the massive show, check it out!

James Haunt at the Tilly’s Santa Monica grand opening (Recap)

James Haunt headed out to the Tilly’s Santa Monica grand opening this past week end and had a blast painting live at the event and mingling with the  crowd. The original piece (pictured above) was raffled off at the end of the day to one very lucky Tilly’s and James Haunt fan. Big shout to the winner Max Shector who was super excited on winning the original work  from James Haunt. Also, a huge thank you from everyone over here to Tilly’s, Dickies and Filter Magazine for throwing a great event!

If you’re in the Santa Monica area, make sure to cruise by the Promenade and check out the  two James Haunt interior installations that are on the walls inside the Tilly’s store, hyped!
