James Haunt at Summer X Games 2012 – press, video and photo recap

James and the crew had such a blast last weekend at the X Games and feel extremely honored to have painted the street course which was viewed by millions on ESPN, ABC, live and online. In the past few days we have received some great press on the course design and James’ involvement with bringing this project to life. James Haunt to paint murals on X Games 2012 Street Course

We are extremely proud and honored to announce that artist/designer James Haunt will be painting a large selection of this year’s X Games Skate/BMX street course! The addition of James’ art and street stylings came through as a great idea and valiant effort from the good people with Red Bull and ESPN in order to add an extra element of “Real Street” this year’s already stellar course designed by California Ramp Works and really set it apart from past years for all the athletes and spectators to enjoy.

We wanted to send a huge thank you to everyone that made this idea come to life, for their continued support of the Los Angeles street art community and for the opportunity to show the world what we are all about. We promise to not disappoint and to create something for everyone to enjoy while checking out the biggest action sports event in the world.

Stay tuned for updates on the progress of the course and make sure to stop by and say what’s up if you’re out at this year’s games where James will also be painting a very special 16′x8′ X Games/Red Bull inspired mural throughout the weekend. …Check out the links below for a little James Haunt love on the ESPN.com blog and on Transworld Business site.
