Artist feature: ZES – Thinkspace Gallery, Palm Springs mural, LA Weekly and more

We wanted to give a huge shout out to LA fine artist, modern graffiti legend and good friend of the James Haunt crew, ZES who is currently featured on and has brand new artworks on display at the Thinkspace Gallery show “New Blood” which is on view through May 28 and curated by movie director/public activist Morgan Spurlock.

For those of you unfamiliar with the current LA art scene, ZES (MSK/Seventh Letter Crew) has been crushing game lately and turning new heads at every moment since recently making his highly anticipated cross over from ruling the LA graff scene for the past decade to scaling down his street driven abstractions to canvases, commissioned installations and smaller gallery sized works.

This past month James Haunt, ZES and the crew headed out to Palm Springs, CA  to paint a large mural (30’x45′) on the side of renown art appraiser Kevin Stewart’s Gallery(pictured below). Everyone had a blast as ZES and James Haunt  became the first street artists ever to knock out a large scale mural in the illustriously classic California desert city! …for more information, make sure to check out the photos and links below, enjoy!
